After two years of preparing, we developed some of prototypes of pager receiver. We evaluated various types of RF receiver - heterodyne system, offset IF and ZERO IF systems, antennas - loop antenna, printed loop antenna, ferrite antenna with one-turn high-Q coil, and various display systems. All the pagers were designed for the band 160 MHz.
