Since RSLL - Reduced Sidelobe Level and Zero Squint Error antennas are still a little-known option so we believe this FAQ will be
helpful.
Q: What does it mean RSLL and why this is so much important ?
Antenna works in the real environment and usually sees many manmade and natural sources of background noise like a thermal noise from the ground,
cosmic noise, sun, lightnings, discharges and so on. Microwave power then delivered to the radio will be the desired signal and noises collected
from various sources.
Noise may be received through the main beam of the antenna pattern and through sidelobes. There is a very little chance to suppress noises received
through the main beam, but we can to control the level of highly undesired sidelobes.
RSLL antennas enable to work even in very radio crowded environments.

Q: What does it mean Zero Squint Error and what advantages it present ?
The squint error means that the elevation of the mainbeam changes when the operation frequency varies. This is especially apparent in serial-fed
sector or omnidirectional antennas.
The user sees a sharp drop in the signal level after the channel change. The result is decreasing of the data throughput or even loss of a
microwave link.
The Elboxrf's antennas have this problem eliminated by the Zero Squint Error technology.

Q: Why should I buy Elboxrf 's RSLL antenna instead of other antenna solution available on the market ?
Elboxrf's antennas are the perfect combination of antenna perfomance (maximum possible gain for the proposed dimensions, reduced sidelobes,
eliminated squint error), quality (certified materials, IP67 protection, corossion resitance, laser precision), weight and dimensions (lower cost
of trasportation and storing) and antenna cost.
Q: Why do you manufacture only microstrip panel and sector antennas ?
Elboxrf company is specializing in the design and development of microstrip antennas. Because of focusing on the microstrip technology we were able
to find unique solutions like RSLL and Zero Squint Error that enable microwave networks performs on the higher level even in very radio crowded
areas. We're still continuing our developments for another innovations to deliver always more advantages accordingly to specific changeable market
needs.
Q: Why don't you do antennas with higher gain than 23 dBi ?
Microstrip technology allows to provide maximum 23 dBi antennas with the proper ratio of performance, dimesnions, weight and cost.
Q: Why do you offer TetraBox_5_23_10_RSLL, an antenna with the box on the
backplate instead of one in solution ?
TetraBox_5_23_10_RSLL is the integrated solution of top performance TetraAnt_5_23_10_RSLL antenna with outstanding quality box. IP66 equipment box
is made of polycarbonate that features extreme operation temperature (-40ºC +60ºC) and high impact resistance.
TetraBox_5_23_10_RSLL antenna has the new developed radiating element. The changes are for the feed line to accomodate the capacitance/inductive
component of the SMA/RP connector. As the result we have exceptional good VSWR.
The TetraBox_5_23_10_RSL antenna is equipped with the strong bracket, all-purpose mounting kit for a routerboard and high-quality cable
feedthrough.
ANY routerboard can be fitted safely in a 5 minute time by means of the glue-tape attached to the special mounting element (4 pcs). The tape is an
aerospace quality and preasure sensitive, so it delivers the ultimate bond strength after 72 hours.
Q: Where do you manufacture your products ?
Elboxrf is manufacturing its products in EU (Olkusz, Poland) only.
Q: Why do you sell your panel antennas in bulk packages ?
There are special mandatory manufacturing-selling rules. Elboxrf is selling panel antennas only in bulk packages because of unique numbering of
each antenna and each bulk of the package.
Q: What is the warranty for your products ?
We give full 5 years warranty, in some cases we can make it longer.
